Day 41

October 5th, 2014

Upward Call of God (2)“We must be willing to let go of the life we’ve planned to live the life that is waiting for us.” Terilee Harrison. At times, it can be so difficult to release something that has become comfortable and predictable – especially if it’s something that brings us joy. But, is that thing that we refuse to release holding us back from something that the Lord has designed specifically for us? As we nestle in our comfort zone, are we blocking our destiny? Letting go will often propel us into unfamiliar and unknown territory. The unknown can represent fear and danger. Or it can put us on the path to our destiny. If that small, familiar voice is telling us to let go, then rely on faith, rely on trust and let go and let God. My joy lies in the knowledge that I will not be led astray. The new territory may be unknown to me, but God’s got it covered. And therein lies my joy.
