I know that my day is so much more productive when I begin my day spending some time writing. I may not have an hour to write. I may only have a few minutes, but it only takes a few minutes to settle my thoughts to put me in the mindset to write. A good friend shared this link with me that states that scientists have done research on the benefits of writing. http://mic.com/articles/98348/science-shows-writers-have-a-serious-advantage-over-the-rest-of-us While I wasn’t part of the study, my schedule for the past couple days was such that I didn’t take the time to start my day by writing. I definitely noticed the difference in my day. I was distracted. I was not as productive. Well, I’m back on schedule now and I’m anticipating a day that will be well-balanced. I started my day with the joy of writing. And therein lies my joy.
