Day 22

FAITH“The path never looks like the promise.” ~ Karen Orlando. I’d like to thank Karen Orlando for posting this. I know I need to be reminded from time-to-time to walk by faith and not by sight. Faith is like a muscle. The more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes. We cannot allow negative situations to block our future. In so many instances, it’s “easier” to give up and give in. In my instance, giving up would lead to a lifetime of coulda, woulda, shouda. I’ve already spent too many years thinking about what life would have been like if only… I’ve mentioned it before; we only have today. We cannot change the past and we do not control the future. But we do have today. We have the present. It’s our gift from God. My faith continues to grow as I depend on God to take care of my present and my future as He erases my past mistakes. While I’m depending on God, I understand that I am participating in my blessings remembering that faith without works is dead. And therein lies my joy.
